The Jaipur government has granted both administrative and financial approval for the preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for 12 bypass roads in nine cities. The Public Works Department (PWD) will soon issue tenders for these projects.
These Jaipur bypass roads are crucial for Bharatpur, Sikar, Hanumangarh, Dholpur, Sawai Madhopur, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, and Sujangarh. These cities are rapidly expanding in size and population. The construction of these 12 bypass roads, along with nine greenfield expressways, was unveiled during the State Budget.

Notably, Bharatpur, Jhunjhunu, and Dholpur will each receive two bypass roads, while the other six cities will get one each. The specifics, including the project costs, will emerge once the DPRs are completed. The ambitious plan aims to finish all 12 bypass roads in Jaipur by 2030.
