The proposed project includes setting up the Green Hydrogen Project having a capacity of 20 nm3/hr. This includes a ground-mounted solar power plant of 500 kW AC capacity and five years of comprehensive operations and management of the complete project at Bhusawal, Jalgaon, Maharashtra. The project is currently in the pre-construction stage. Scheduled to begin in 2022, the project’s completion date is 2023. As of August 2022, Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (MAHAGENCO) floated a tender for the Selection of an EPC Contractor.

Maharashtra State Power Generation Corporation Limited (MAHAGENCO) has the highest overall generation capacity and the highest thermal installed capacity amongst all the state power generation utilities in India. In terms of installed capacity, it is the second-highest generation company after NTPC.
