Maxivision Super Speciality to set up 100 eye care centres at an outlay of INR 400 Crore

On Tuesday, September 12, Maxivision Super Speciality Eye Hospitals Pvt Ltd, a prominent eye care provider, announced its plan to invest INR 400 Crore in establishing 100 eye care centres in Tamil Nadu. Maxivision Super Speciality has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Tamil Nadu Government in the presence of Chief Minister M K Stalin.

In accordance with the plan, the eye care provider will establish eye care centres in tier II and III cities, creating 2,000 job opportunities within the state. Maxivision Super Speciality has previously established super-specialty eye hospitals in Telangana, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, and Kerala.

The signing of an MoU comes in the backdrop of the DMK government planning to hold its maiden Global Investors Meet in January 2024 in the state capital.
