Minor Hotels signs first Avani resort and branded residences in AP

Minor Hotels, based in Thailand, has signed its first Avani branded beach resort in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The new property, named Avani + Sunray Beach Visakhapatnam Resort, will feature 117 hotel rooms and 58 branded villas, offering a blend of comfort and luxury.

Furthermore, Avani + Sunray Beach Visakhapatnam Resort will include three unique dining options—an all-day diner, a lively specialty restaurant, and a chic bar. It will also house a modern banqueting hall to host events and celebrations. Guests and residents alike can enjoy the AvaniSpa, a spacious swimming pool, and a relaxing beach bar.

The Resort will span across an anticipated 25.5 Acres site in Bhogapuram. Moreover, the location sits close to the upcoming Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport, which will boost regional travel and accessibility.

Slated for completion by 2028, the development aims to redefine hospitality in the region. In addition, the developers plan to introduce an AvaniFit gym as part of the wellness offerings. Overall, the Avani Beach Resort promises to blend elegance, convenience, and coastal charm in one destination.
