The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited tenders for five segments of the highly anticipated Bengaluru Satellite Town Ring Road (STRR) project. This 280 Km highway, NH 948A, will encircle Bengaluru and help reduce the city’s heavy traffic.
NHAI floated these tenders to cover the western section of the Bengaluru STRR. This section, spanning approximately 144 Km, is estimated to cost 4,750 INR-Crore. Stretching from Dobbaspet in the north to Hosur, Tamil Nadu, the access-controlled STRR will feature four to six lanes.
