The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has initiated the process for construction of the Capital Region Ring Road (CRRR), in Odisha. It is a six-lane project connecting Rameswar in Khurda to Bilipada in Cuttack. The authority has floated tenders for the first 40 Km phase. This phase costs an estimated 1,715 INR-Crore.
Additionally, The last date to submit bids is January 1, 2025. The bids will be opened on January 10, 2025. The Capital Region Ring Road (CRRR) will span approximately 111 Km and is being developed in phases. Approved under the Bharatmala Pariyojana, the estimated cost of this project is 6,100 INR-Crore.
