The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has announced plans to build a new flyover and underpass at the 200-Feet bypass crossing in Jaipur.
The Union Ministry of Road, Transport, and Highways (MoRTH) is set to release tenders for this critical project in January 2025. NHAI intends to complete the detailed project report (DPR) within the next two months. The construction is anticipated to take around 18 months. Moreover, this ambitious flyover in Jaipur aims to alleviate traffic for roughly 1.25 lakh daily commuters.

Additionally, the proposed flyover, spanning about 1.6 Km, will streamline traffic coming from Ajmer, allowing for a smooth left turn toward Delhi. At present, an existing flyover only supports traffic moving from Delhi and turning right toward Ajmer. Furthermore, this vital project by NHAI promises to redefine daily commutes in Jaipur, easing congestion and enhancing travel efficiency for thousands.
