Union Minister Nitin Gadkari To Roll Out INR 13,000 Crore Road Projects On March 23

Ranchi/Jamshedpur: On March 23, Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister of Road and Transport, is set to initiate various road projects in Jharkhand worth INR 13,299 crore. The projects will span a combined distance of 752 km, details issued from the regional office of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). 

In Jamshedpur, one project will be inaugurated, while nine others will have their foundation stones laid. The balance work of the Jamshedpur-Mahulia Section of NH-33 under the National Highways Development Programme (Phase-III) has already been completed, and the minister will dedicate it to the public from Jamshedpur on the same day. 

The projects in Jamshedpur that will have their foundation stones laid include a four-lane, double-decker elevated road from Kalimandir-Dimna road to Baliguma, a ROB (Road over bridge) on NH75E between Jhikpani and Talaburu railway station, and the re-construction of Bhuiya Sinan to Susni via Hata road in East Singhbhum, among others.
