The twin city of Pimpri-Chinchwad will soon witness the construction of an 850-bed multispeciality hospital in Moshi. This new hospital, costing approximately INR 420 Crore, will be an eight-storey structure situated on a 15-acre land parcel in Moshi.
Initially, the hospital will have 650 beds, with plans to add another 200 beds later on. The ground level will house an Out Patients Department (OPD) and a General Medicine department, along with various specialties such as ENT, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Paediatrics, Radiology, Psychology, and more.

On April 25 of this year, the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) initiated a tender for the hospital. Six proposals expressing interest in undertaking the project were received by the civic body. Vascon Engineers Ltd., who submitted the lowest bid, will be responsible for developing the facility. The final approval for this contractor is scheduled to be granted during the next Standing Committee meeting on September 26.
