Pune- Medad to soon get a Ayurvedic College and Hospital

The Public Works Department (PWD) of Medad, Maharashtra has got approvals for the construction of PWD Government Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Medad, Tal Baramati in the city of Pune. Recently, tenders were invited for the selection of a Project Management Consultant. The setting up of a new hospital building will give a boost to the healthcare infrastructure of the town. This will help overcome the shortcomings of hospitals in wake of the pandemic. The hospital will also include educational facilities apart from the medical infrastructure.

Project Specifications:

The built-up area comprising the educational and the healthcare infrastructure combined will comprise 1,306,846 sq. ft. This institute will become a centre which upcoming health professionals, doctors, medical staff, and above all, the citizens will look up to. The training and healthcare infrastructure of this building will create skilled healthcare professionals whose efforts may help build a healthy economy with healthy residents.
