Project Overview:
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has undertaken the redevelopment of the LTMG Hospital at Sion to construct hospital buildings in Phase II. The authority had floated a tender for selecting an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractor in March 2024.
The project sprawls over an anticipated construction area of 1,869,939 SqFt and has an estimated construction cost of INR 1,200 Crore. It is expected to be completed within 60 months (5 years) of commencement.
The scope of work involves civil and MEP services for developing a new hospital building staggering 14 storeys. Additionally, the LTMG Hospital premises will comprise an oncology building, an emergency building, an OPD building, and a foot overbridge (FOB) connecting the LTMG hospital and the barrack plot of the hospital over Sulochana Sheti Marg.
Arcop Associates Pvt Ltd serves as the design architect for this project, whereas Shashank Mehendale & Associates is the structural engineering consultant.
