Sahasra Semiconductors plans to set up a Memory Chip Facility with an investment of INR 750 crores in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan.

Sahasra Semiconductors, an electronics company, has stated that it expects to be the first business to establish a Memory Chip Assembly, Test, Marking, and Packaging (ATMP) unit in the nation. It will launch the sale of locally produced chips by December.

The company plans to spend INR 750 crores to establish the Assembly, Testing, Marking and Packaging (ATMP) factory. This factory will be in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. At an ATMP operations facility, they transform semiconductors into a finished product that is prepared for sale. It comes after the production of wafers or chips in a fabrication factory.

The facility will be at the Elcina Industrial Cluster in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. For its construction, the company will invest INR 150 crores during this fiscal year. By the end of this year, the facility will be operational. Consecutively, the company will also invest another INR 600 crores on establishing a market and reaching revenues between INR 250 and INR 300 crores.
