Upon completion, it will be one of India’s largest multi-venue sports complexes. The bhoomi pujan took place on February 24, 2021, marking the beginning of this transformative development.
Spread across an anticipated 236 Acres, Sardar Patel Sports Enclave will cover a construction area of 9.3 Million-SqFt. The project’s construction cost is estimated at 6,000 INR-Crore.

The Ahmedabad sports enclave will also feature major sports venues, including:
- Narendra Modi Stadium – The world’s largest stadium, with a 110,000 spectator capacity (Completed)
- Football Stadium – Seating 50,000 spectators
- Multipurpose Indoor Arena – 18,000 seating capacity including:
- Volleyball Indoor Arena – 10,000 seating capacity
- 3×3 Basketball Arena – 6,000 seating capacity
- Aquatics Center – 120,000 SqFt, with 12,000 spectator capacity

These state-of-the-art sports venues will be designed to meet Olympic standards.
