SECI initiates Tender for setting up 2,500 MW Wind Power Projects

Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) under the administrative control of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), has announced the invitation of tenders for the establishment of 2,500 MW wind power projects in India. 

SECI will soon release a Request for Selection document to select wind power developers for the setup of 2,500 MW ISTS-connected Wind Power Projects under Tranche XV of Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding. 

These projects will be strategically located and interconnected to the Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) network in five states, namely Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, and Andhra Pradesh.
