Suzlon Group has secured a 551.25 MW wind power project from the Aditya Birla Group. The company will execute the project on a full spectrum of supply, supervision, and commissioning, followed by post-commissioning operation and maintenance services.
The scope of work involves installing 175 wind turbine generators (WTGs), each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW. These turbines belong to Suzlon’s larger rated 3.15 MW, S144-140m series. Suzlon will set up a 368.55 MW wind project in Rajasthan’s Barmer district, whereas an 182.70 MW wind project will be set up in Bhuj, Gujarat.

The generated power will be utilized for captive usage within the Aditya Birla Group companies. This upcoming project will provide electricity to approximately 454,000 households and help curb around 1.792 million tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.
