Tata Group to introduce two resorts in Lakshadweep by 2026

TATA Group on Wednesday, January 10, announced the company’s plans to set up two Taj-branded resorts in Lakshadweep at Suheli and Kadmat islands. These resorts are scheduled to be operational by 2026 and will be managed by IHCL (Indian Hotels Company Ltd), TATA’s fully-owned subsidiary. 

The Suheli resort will feature 110 rooms, including 60 beachfront villas and 50 water villas. The resort at Kadmat (also known as Cardamom Island) will feature 110 rooms, including 75 beach villas and 35 water villas. TATA Group aims to attract both domestic and international travelers to the region.

IHCL highlighted that the resorts are poised to be the ideal destination for water sports enthusiasts offering activities like scuba diving, windsurfing, snorkeling, surfing, water skiing, and yachting.
