TCIL laid the foundation stone of a new data center in Delhi

Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd (TCIL), a state-controlled entity, laid the foundation stone for a new data center in Delhi. It is aimed at helping the Indian Coast Guard achieve a digital transformation.

In the bhoomi-poojan ceremony held at Vasant Kunj, Delhi, TCIL and the Indian Coast Guard committed to completing this major initiative within two years. The ambitious project, costing an estimated 588 INR-Crore, is a collaboration between TCIL, Yotta Infrastructure, and software provider Attero. This state-of-the-art Indian Coast Guard data center will include a 5-year operational expenditure plan and a 2-year hardware warranty, ensuring long-term support.

Furthermore, this data center will play a crucial role in digitally transforming the Indian Coast Guard, integrating an ERP system that links 109 offices and 88 ships. Moreover, this full-fledged data center promises to streamline and strengthen the organization’s digital operations.
