Telangana has secured various manufacturing investments worth an estimated 7,600 INR-Crore. These projects are set to create around 5200 jobs across key sectors, including aerospace, defence, electronics, energy storage, and eyewear production.
The government signed four MoUs with Lenskart, Premier Energies, and Azad Engineering to propel these investments forward. The largest initiative comes from Premier Energies Global Environment Pvt Ltd which will invest an estimated 3,342 INR-Crore to establish a 4 GW solar PV TOPCon cell and module manufacturing facility in Sitarampur. Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) has already allocated around 75 Acres for this project, which will create 1000 jobs.
Additionally, Premier Energies is dedicating around 1,950 INR-Crore to set up plants for ingots and silicon wafers (1,700 INR-Crore) and aluminum extrusions (250 INR-Crore). The facility, located on an anticipated 125 Acres of TSIIC-allocated land in Sitarampur, will generate 1500 additional jobs.

Furthermore, Lenskart is also investing an estimated 1,500 INR-Crore to develop an eyewear manufacturing plant. The government has identified land at Fab City, set for allocation this week. This venture will provide around 2100 employment opportunities.
Lastly, Azad Engineering will invest around 800 INR-Crore in a superalloy manufacturing plant at Ghanpur Industrial Park. With around 25 Acres allocated, the first phase involves 300 INR-Crore, followed by 500 INR-Crore in the second phase. This high-tech facility will generate 600 jobs. Telangana is experiencing a remarkable transformation in its manufacturing sector with these significant investments.
