Tenders floated for dwelling units under Bengaluru’s 1 Lakh Multi-Storey Housing Programme

Rajiv Gandhi Rural Housing Corporation Limited, Bengaluru [RGRHOL] has floated tenders for the Construction of Multi Storey Residential housing units in and around Bengaluru under the “1 Lakh Multi-Storey Bengaluru Housing Programme” on Design, Build, Operate and Transfer [DBOT] basis in 9 packages.

The State Government had announced the project on 1,500 acres of government land reclaimed from encroachers in Bengaluru. This scheme will provide one lakh multi-storied houses to the economically weaker sections of the society. 

The project would feature 1 BHK/2 BHK apartments and most of the buildings would be of high-rises of 14 floors having monolithic shear design.

It is being financed under the central, as well as the state government schemes, such as the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the Rajiv Gandhi Awas Yojna, the Ambedkar Housing Scheme and the Basavanna Housing Scheme.
