TP Saurya, Tata Power Trading Company ink pact to set up 200 MW solar project in Rajasthan

TP Saurya, a subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) has signed a power purchase agreement with Tata Power Trading Company Ltd (TPTCL) for a 200 MW solar project in Bikaner, Rajasthan. 

This achievement elevates TPREL’s total renewable energy capacity to 6,788 MW, with an installed capacity of 3,917 MW (2,989 MW solar and 928 MW wind) and an additional 2,871 MW in various stages of implementation.

The plant is scheduled to be operational by March 2024, supported by a 25-year power purchase agreement between TPTCL and TPSL.
