Upcoming Mini Smart Township at Buxar, Bihar

SJVN Thermal Private Limited has proposed to develop a mini smart township at project site of Buxar Thermal Power Project at Chausa, Buxar in Bihar on EPC basis.

Buxar Thermal Power Project (1320 MW) is being developed by SJVN Thermal Private Limited near Village Chausa in Buxar Distt. of Bihar. After investment approval by Govt. Of India, the work of EPC package of Main Plant work has been awarded to L&T and execution is under progress.

The land plot measuring 1058 acres has already been acquired. In the stated plot plan, an area measuring 49 acres located in South West sector of the acquired land has been earmarked for the Township of the Project.

It is proposed to develop the Township in an area of about 24 acres and keep about 25 acres of land out of 49 acres for green belt/ future expansion.

The township shall be constructed & developed on Mini Smart City concept incorporating Green Building provisions for both Residential and Non-residential buildings.

It would be comprising of multi-storied dwelling buildings, field hostel, guest house, hospital, training centre with workshop, shopping centre along with bank, post office & Communication Centre, kinder garden school, primary school, clubs for executive ladies and Subordinates, auditorium (500 capacity), sports complex, swimming pool, road, park, gym, drains, gate complex etc.
