The Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (PMAY) Housing Project is an upcoming residential housing project planned by the Indore Municipal Corporation for public welfare. The proposed project involves construction of Housing Units at Aravalli Parisar (Phase II), Narmda Parisar (Phase II) and in Limbodi at Khasra in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna the Municipal Corporation ensures ‘Housing for All’ in urban areas by the end of the year 2022. It will provide ease of living to urban migrants and economically weaker sections of society particularly associated with the industrial sector. It will also be beneficial to those associated with the informal urban economy to get access to dignified affordable rental housing close to their place of work.
The residential housing project has a proposed built-up area of 1,396,079 square feet (0.13 km²). The project consists of 1128 1BHK Housing Units, 488 2BHK Housing Units and 216 3BHK Housing Units. A human-centric approach will be adopted to plan and design the residential complex. Under this scheme, all the construction materials are eco-friendly and will make use of sustainable technology. The construction for EWS housing will strictly adhere to the guidelines as per the National Building Code and BIS codes.
