Uttar Pradesh is set to welcome its fourth UP International Cricket Stadium in Gorakhpur. The Yogi Adityanath government has fast-tracked the project to boost sports infrastructure.
The upcoming stadium will be built on a 50 Acres site at Tal Nadaur. Designed to meet ICC standards, the UP International Cricket Stadium will have seven main pitches and four practice pitches. It will accommodate 30,000 spectators and host international matches.

The stadium will include East and West stands, each seating 14,490 people. The North Pavilion will have 208 VIP seats and a media gallery with 382 seats. Meanwhile, the South Pavilion will house players’ dressing rooms and a VIP gallery with 1,708 seats. Apart from cricket, the UP International Cricket Stadium will host large-scale events. Facilities will also include security checkpoints, merchandise stores, first aid stations, and video boards.
The stadium will be developed under the EPC model and completed within 18 months. The estimated cost is 236.40 INR-Crore. This new UP International Cricket Stadium will strengthen Uttar Pradesh’s sports infrastructure and attract global events.
