ExxonMobil Initiates Construction of Advanced Lubricant Manufacturing Plant in Raigad, Maharashtra

ExxonMobil has commenced the construction of a state-of-the-art lubricant manufacturing plant in Raigad, Maharashtra. The foundation stone laying ceremony took place today, attended by key executives including Dave Hergenrether, VP of Finished Lubricants at ExxonMobil Product Solutions Company, Monte Dobson, Lead Country Manager for ExxonMobil affiliates in India, and Vipin Rana, CEO of ExxonMobil Lubricants Pvt Ltd.

With an investment of INR 900 crore (US$110 million), the plant aims to meet the growing demand for high-performance lubricants in India’s industrial and automotive sectors. Strategically located in the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation’s Isambe Industrial Area, it will have a production capacity of 159,000 kiloliters of finished lubricants annually.
