Uttar Pradesh has outlined the initial plans for an ambitious Olympic Park near the forthcoming Noida International Airport. This development aligns with the nation’s infrastructure goals as it aims to secure a more prominent position on the global stage. This initiative closely follows the Central government’s expressed interest in proposing an Indian city as a potential host for the world’s largest sporting event in 2026.

The 2041 Master Plan designates approximately 1,100 acres in Sector 22 of the Yamuna Expressway for the Olympic Park.

Furthermore, the plan includes the establishment of sports clubs, training and coaching centers, convention centers, malls, and theme parks. Additionally, there is a proposal for an Olympic Village to be developed on 130 acres, featuring 5,000 housing units, primarily consisting of 3 and 4 BHK flats.

This residential enclave will be designed to accommodate participants and individuals affiliated with sporting events.
