Vatika Chowk to get new 5.3 km elevated road by GMDA

The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) plans to construct a 5.3 KM elevated road connecting Vatika Chowk with the cloverleaf on the Delhi-Gurugram expressway. They will submit the proposal for approval during the GMDA’s meeting tomorrow, July 10.

With an estimated cost of INR 750 Crore, the GMDA Vatika Chowk project will include INR 120 Crore for acquiring land near Vatika Chowk. The elevated road will have six lanes and it will have adequate entry and exit points for commuters.

Additionally, this cloverleaf structure at Vatika Chowk and the elevated road along the southern peripheral road (SPR) will integrate the Sohna elevated road, Dwarka Expressway, and NH 48. Furthermore, it will facilitate smooth traffic movement. If approved in the meeting chaired by the chief minister, work will commence immediately.
