Vibrant Energy, on Wednesday, November 1, announced setting up a 198-megawatt (MW) wind farm project for the e-commerce Amazon in Maharashtra. The companies have signed the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the same.
The wind farm will be located in Osmanabad and is anticipated to generate 6,97,261 MWh of energy per year with an offset of 4,94,137 Metric tonnes of carbon emissions per annum. The project is estimated to be completed by 2025.
