The Public Works Department (PWD) is constructing an integrated GB Pant Engineering College and Polytechnic campus at Okhla, Delhi. The project will cover a land area of 22.96 acres with a total construction area of 1,088,111 SqFt. The estimated construction cost of the project is 517 INR-Crore.
The college is planned for a total student strength of 2880 and will be developed in a phased manner. The project includes the construction of an Administrative block, Academic block, Auditorium block, Workshop, Activity Centre, Residential block, 40 Type-IV quarters, and a hostel block with a capacity of 400 students. DDF Consultants Private Limited is the Design Architect for the project. As of June 2023, a tender has been issued to select the Civil works contractor for the project.
