Honda begins construction of Spare Parts Warehouse Facility in Bengaluru

Honda, on Monday, April 15, announced starting the construction of its new spare parts warehouse facility in Doddaballapura, near Bengaluru, Karnataka. This strategic move aims to bolster Honda’s logistics for its diverse range of products, such as two-wheelers, four-wheelers, and power products.

Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Company (SMCC) will oversee the development of the facility. It has a net plot area of 1.4 Lakh-SqM, of which 60,000 SqM will be developed in the initial phase. This includes a covered space of nearly 25,000 SqM. The remaining areas will further be developed based on future requirements.

The facility, managed by Honda Cars India, will support spare parts operations for all Honda businesses, including Honda Cars India, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, and Honda India Power Products. The warehouse is strategically located in the Doddaballapura district, close to Bengaluru International Airport and the Honda two-wheeler manufacturing plant. It has been designed to prioritize efficiency and safety and will use modern technology and sustainable materials.
