Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL) signed an agreement with Merlin Group for its upcoming resort near Joka in Kolkata, under its franchise ‘IHCL SeleQtions’. The project named IBIZA, will be located in Kriparampur on Diamond Harbour Road over an anticipated 11 Acres of land.
The upcoming IBIZA Resort, Kolkata, will feature 130 well-appointed rooms including eight suites. Additionally, it will comprise conference halls, pre-function areas, meeting rooms and scenic outdoor venues, among other facilities. The resort will also boast a 5,400 SqFt ballroom and is scheduled to open by October 2025.

The resort aims to cater to the increasing demand for both leisure and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions). This collaboration signifies IHCL’s commitment to expanding its footprint in Kolkata, providing getaway destinations within short driving distances from the city. The new IBIZA resort is poised to contribute to this thriving hospitality landscape.
