On Friday, September 22, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar laid the foundation stone for Flipkart’s regional distribution center in Manesar and virtually inaugurated the Grocery Supply Center in Sonipat.
Khattar highlighted that Flipkart’s investment is a testament to the conducive atmosphere fostered in Haryana for businesses. Flipkart is in the process of setting up a regional distribution center in Manesar, which spans 140 acres and entails an investment of INR 1,389 Crore.

Flipkart’s distribution center is on track to become the largest in Asia. It is expected to offer employment opportunities to approximately 10,000 individuals, both directly and indirectly. Similarly, the grocery supply center in Sonipat is anticipated to create around 2,000 direct and indirect jobs.
Several key projects are already underway, including the Global Smart City and the Mass Rapid Transit System in Gurugram. Additionally, the Integrated Multi-Modal Logistics Hub in Narnaul, covering 886 acres and involving an investment of USD 700 million in partnership with the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor Project, is also progressing.
