NCC Ltd announced on Friday, September 22, that the joint venture between NCC Ltd and J. Kumar Infraprojects Limited has been awarded a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for a project worth INR 6,301.08 Crore. In this joint venture, NCC holds a 51% stake, while J. Kumar Infraprojects holds 49%.

The project entails designing, constructing, and operating a twin tunnel extending from Film City Goregaon to Khindipada (Amar Nagar) Mulund, which includes the construction of a Box Tunnel at Film City, as well as the implementation of electrical, mechanical, and related tasks. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has awarded this project.
NCC is responsible for executing approximately INR 3,213.55 Crore worth works of the project. The duration of the project is five years and the operation and maintenance (O&M) phase spans ten years.
