PM Modi Inaugurates INR 1,500 Crore Development Projects in Jammu & Kashmir

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 84 major development projects in J&K (Jammu and Kashmir) on Thursday, June 20. These upcoming projects will be worth over an estimated INR 1,500 Crore. These inaugurations will include projects in sectors such as road infrastructure, water supply schemes, and educational infrastructure.

PM Modi laid the foundation stone for several key projects in J&K. These include the improvement of the Chenani-Patnitop-Nashri Section and the development of Industrial Estates. Additionally, the PM laid the stone for six Government Degree Colleges.

Moreover, the Prime Minister launched the Competitiveness Improvement in Agriculture and Allied Sectors (JKCIP) Project. This development project is worth over an estimated INR 1,800 Crore. The project will be implemented in 90 Blocks across 20 districts of Jammu and Kashmir. It aims to reach 300,000 households, while benefiting 15 lakh people.
