Gensol Engineering secures solar PV power project worth INR 520 Cr in Maharashtra

On Friday, March 22, Gensol Engineering Limited announced securing the largest-ever turnkey EPC order, both in size and value, from a power generation utility in Maharashtra. The project entails developing a 100 MWAC/135 MWp ground-mount solar PV power project spread across 500 acres in Maharashtra, with a total order value of INR 520 Crore.

Gensol’s involvement encompasses the entire spectrum of the project’s lifecycle, starting from the intricate process of land acquisition—a substantial endeavor that underscores the project’s magnitude and intricacy—to handling design, engineering, procurement, and logistics aspects.

The scope further extends to a comprehensive array of responsibilities, encompassing civil and electrical engineering works, obtaining necessary permits, installing and commissioning the plant, and committing to three years of operational management. This includes maintenance for the plant’s switchyard and its extensive transmission infrastructure.
