Haryana: PM Modi Inaugurates and lays Foundation for multiple development projects worth INR 9750 Crore

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Friday, February 16, inaugurated, dedicated to the nation, and laid the foundation stone for multiple development projects worth an estimated INR 9,750 Crore in Rewari, Haryana. These projects are poised to cater to crucial sectors including urban transport, healthcare, railways and tourism.

One of the key projects inaugurated by the Prime Minister includes Anubhav Kendra Jyotisar, which is an experiential museum displaying the narratives of the Mahabharata and the teachings of Gita. The project sprawls across an anticipated 17 Acres of land parcel, with nearly 100,000 SqFt of indoor space and was developed at an estimated cost of INR 240 Crore.

Modi dedicated to the nation and laid the foundation stones for projects worth an aggregate INR 10,000 Crore towards the modernisation of roadways and railways along with well-equipped hospitals.

The significant projects for which the foundation stone was laid include:

AIIMS Rewari

The upcoming healthcare project is being developed over an anticipated 203 Acres of land parcel at an investment of approximately INR 1,650 Crore. It is being developed under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) and includes developing hospital blocks, AYUSH Blocks, hostels, administration blocks, etc.

Gurugram Metro Rail Project

The 28.5 Km-long Gurugram Metro is being set up at a construction cost of nearly INR 5450 Crore. It will connect Millennium City Center with Udyog Vihar Phase V and merge into the existing metro network of the rapid metro rail.

Railway projects

  • Doubling of the Bhiwani-Dobh Bhali rail line spanning 42.30 Km.
  • Doubling of the Manheru-Bawani Khera rail line spanning 31.50 Km.
  • Doubling of the Rewari-Kathuwas rail line spanning 27.72 Km.
  • Doubling of the Kathuwas-Narnaul rail line spanning 24.12 Km.

Moreover, PM Modi dedicated to the nation the 68 Km-long Rohtak-Meham-Hansi rail line poised to reduce the travel time between Rohtak and Hisar.
