Imagicaa to set up Entertainment Park at Riverfront, Ahmedabad

The Gujarat Urban Development Department recently approved setting up an entertainment hub by Imagicaa at the Sabarmati Riverfront over an anticipated 5 Lakh SqFt area. The project will see an estimated investment of INR 130 Crore and is anticipated to be completed within two years of commencement.

The upcoming Imagicaa entertainment park will be developed to the east of the Atal Bridge near the Sabarmati Riverfront. The project will feature indoor and outdoor attractions comprising tiered green promenades, parks, a snow park, flying carousel rides, a drop tower, a dedicated children’s play area, a flood plaza, a state-of-the-art amphitheatre, arcade games, educational activities, a Ferris wheel offering panoramic views of the riverfront and the cityscape, etc.

The Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation Ltd (SRFDCL) had earlier called for global proposals for developing an entertainment hub along the riverfront, with Imagicaaworld Entertainment Ltd winning the bid. Imagicaa will pay an annual lease rent of INR 45.65 Lakh with a 10% escalation every three years. Additionally, the company will contribute 12.25% of its gross revenue to SRFDCL.
