J Kumar Infraprojects bags order worth INR 582 Crore for Elevated corridor in Chennai

J Kumar Infraprojects Ltd has bagged the order from the Tamil Nadu Government to construct a four-lane elevated corridor on the Grand Southern Trunk Road, one of Chennai’s main arterial roads. The proposed construction cost of the project is INR 582 Crore.

The Mumbai-based developer will construct this corridor in EPC mode (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) within an anticipated completion period of 24 months. The 3.2 km-long elevated corridor will connect Teynampet and Saidapet, on the busy Anna Salai Road.

The project aims to alleviate traffic and allow commuters to pass through intersections at Eldams Road, SIET College, Cenotaph Road, Nandanam, CIT Nagar Third and First Main Road, and Todd Hunter Nagar–Jones Road.
