Jakson Green to set up 2,400 INR-Crore Green Ammonia plant for Deendayal Port

Jakson Green announced on Thursday, October 19, that the company signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Deendayal Port Authority to construct a Green Ammonia Facility. This facility will be located in Kandla Port, Gujarat. The estimated cost of this project is 2400 INR-crore.

The project is planned in a phased manner and is anticipated to generate approximately 133,000 tonnes of Green Ammonia annually. The MoU was signed on the sidelines of the Global Maritime India Summit, 2023.

Jakson Green would be assisted in obtaining necessary approvals, registrations, and clearances by the Deendayal Port Authority. Since Green Ammonia forms the core of the sustainable energy vision, the facility will play a significant role in decarbonizing the Maritime sector.
