Integrated Textile City to come up near Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Narol Textile Infrastructure & Enviro Management (NTIEM), an Ahemdabad-based textile industry association, has planned to set up an integrated textile city near Ahmedabad. This project will be developed as a part of NTIEM’s expansion plan. 

The facility will come up over 2,000 acres of land parcel with an estimated cost of 25,000 INR-Crore. An MoU will be signed for this project during the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit in January 2024.

The proposed project is anticipated to be fully operational by 2027 and will include housing facilities for all employees (from workers to management-level personnel) along with schools and hospitals. This project is expected to generate around 5 lakh direct job opportunities.
