Suzlon bags 2 wind energy orders of 100.8 MW each from Mahindra Susten & Nordic energy firm

Suzlon, a renewables solutions provider, has bagged two wind energy orders of 100.8MW each from Mahindra Susten and an Indian unit of a leading Nordic energy company. It will execute these projects with a full spectrum of supply, installation, and commissioning, followed by post-commissioning operation and maintenance services.

Suzlon will install 48 units of their S120-140m Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) with an HLT (Hybrid Lattice Tubular) Tower and a rated capacity of 2.1MW each for Mahindra Susten Pvt Ltd (a clean-tech arm of the Mahindra Group) in Maharashtra. The electricity generated from the project will be supplied to commercial and industrial (C&I) customers in the state.

For the Indian unit of a leading Nordic company, Suzlon will install 32 WTGs with an HLT Tower and a rated capacity of 3.15MW each in Karnataka. The electricity generated through this project will provide electricity to 77,000 households and reduce nearly 3.02 lakh tonnes of carbon emissions per year.
