The leading global manufacturer and supplier of proprietary automotive solutions to OEMs, Uno Minda Limited, formerly known as Minda Industries Limited, has taken a significant step towards automotive excellence. The company, on Wednesday, April 10, laid the foundation stone for its upcoming greenfield passenger vehicle alloy wheel plant in IMT Kharkhoda, Haryana.
This state-of-the-art facility, with a planned capacity of 120,000 wheels per month, will be set up in phases over the next 5 years. It will have an estimated capital outlay of INR 542 Crore. Phase 1 commissioning is scheduled for Q2 FY26. Uno Minda recently secured a strategic land parcel of 94.32 Acres at IMT Kharkhoda, Haryana HSIIDC, to fuel its ongoing and future expansions. Approximately 25 Acres of this land have been designated specifically for the alloy wheel plant.

Moreover, Uno Minda last year had acquired 86 Acres of land at Khed City Industrial Park, Pune. Additionally, the company acquired nearly 37 acres in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, and 94.32 acres in IMT Kharkhoda, Haryana. It is also in the process of acquiring land in Gujarat, the company announced.
