Overview of the Project:
The Airports Authority of India (AAI) is constructing a new modern integrated terminal building at Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Airport in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The authority had floated a tender for the construction of the new civil enclave on EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) Mode in December 2023. In mid-February, the technical bids were opened, unveiling 13 bidders. K.S.M. Bashir Mohd. & Sons emerged as the lowest bidder for the project on Friday, February 23.
The upcoming project will be developed over an anticipated 95 Acres of land parcel with a construction area of approximately 369,697 SqFt. The project will see an estimated investment of INR 441 Crore and is envisaged to be completed within 24 months of commencement.
The scope of work for the new integrated terminal encompasses the construction of departure and arrival areas, a security hold area featuring four airbridges, 32 check-in counters, three baggage claim belts, and a concourse area equipped with essential travel amenities. Additionally, the terminal will house a snack bar, TR and Curio stall, meet and greet area, facilitation counters, and a conference room, among other facilities. Furthermore, the apron will undergo expansion to accommodate nine narrow-body aircraft.
Creative Group is serving as the design architect for this project, whereas Geo Engineering Services is providing Geotechnical Engineering.

DESIGN
