GE Power bags two contracts from Jaiprakash Power worth INR 775 Crore

GE Power India Ltd, on Wednesday, April 3, announced it has bagged two contracts from Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd worth a combined estimated INR 774.9 Crore. The scope of work involves D&E, Supply & TFA of wet limestone-based FGD for Jaiprakash Power’s Nigrie Super Thermal Power Plant and Bina Thermal Power Plant.

The Nigrie Super Thermal Power Plant Project will be executed at an estimated INR 490.5 Crore (without GST), whereas it is expected to be completed within 33 months. The project includes D&E, Supply, transportation, TFA for erection & commissioning and conducting PGT of FGD for the Super Thermal Power Plant.

Further, the Bina Thermal Power Plant project will see an estimated investment of INR 284.4 Crore (without GST) and will be operational within 30 months of commencement. It includes D&E, Supply, transportation, TFA for erection & commissioning and conducting PGT of Boiler FGD for the thermal power plant.
